Motocross at the foot of Mount Agung
A riding school and enduro tours in Besakih, Rendang district, Karangasem regency. Routes run across the eastern slope of Agung: jungle singletrack, black volcanic sand, lava fields and switchbacks up the mountainside.
Trip length
Two options: a short ride of 3–4 hours, or a full day of 5–6 hours. Tours set off at 9:00 or 9:30, the last one leaves at 14:00.
For beginners
No age limit and no licence needed — the routes run off-road, away from public roads. What matters is being able to handle a bike. Tell us about your experience before booking: the engine size and the route are matched to it.
The bikes
KLX 150 and KLX 230 are light and forgiving — the right choice for a first ride. KTM 300 comes in two-stroke and four-stroke for confident riders.

KLX 230/150 — IDR 2,000,000. KTM 300 2T/4T — IDR 4,300,000. Instructor and gear included.
Getting there
Come straight to the meeting point in Besakih, or arrange a pickup for an extra fee — the amount depends on where you are staying.
Group size
Up to 7 riders. A tour runs even for a single guest. From two guests there are usually two guides: one leads, one sweeps at the back.
